On the 13th of July at 07.30, Bob and I summited Kebnekaise in Sweden and the final high point of the EURO 48 challenge. It was a long slog but one of the best mountains of the entire project. Here are a few pictures, more to follow shortly.

Almost There!
Earlier this month we visited the islands of Jersey, Guernsey and the Azores. Although these high points were not part of our original 48, it kind of made sense to do them, particularly Montanha do Pico in the Azores. There are many different opinions on what the official high points are in Europe and I'm certainly not going to add to the confusion. Of course, I have my own opinion but at the end of the day, if you want to visit a high point, whether its official or not, then do it!
We had a great week, although 9 flights in 6 days was a bit much - but worth it!
Next up is Sweden and Finland in a few weeks time. If we are successful it will be the end of EURO 48! Wish us luck!
